She Who Must Be Obeyed

Ayesha, imperious, glorious Queen.
Her realm long hidden, long unseen.
Two thousand years she has waited,
Her land unchanging, strange and dated.

Her minions roaming far and near.
Ever searching for that one so dear.
Down Nile, Indus and Euphrates,
To find the loved one, Kallikrates.

His murdered body long turned to dust.
He will return, so wait she must.
Destined to come back, born again.
To bring joy to her life of pain.

Far away Leo, twenty five years old,
Imagines what secrets the casket may hold.
A strange shard, a stranger story,
Calling him on to fame and glory.

An expedition planned with companions true,
To search for the fable that Ancients knew.
A destiny hidden, a part that must be played,
He comes at last to "She Who Must Be Obeyed"
